GAIS are reportedly interested in signing Kalipha Jawla permanently after the striker's impressive loan spell in Superettan, according to Aftonbladet.
The 22-year-old forward is currently on loan at Nordic United from Djurgården, with his temporary deal set to expire on June 30. Jawla has been in excellent form during his time in Sweden's second tier, netting six goals and providing one assist in just 11 appearances.
The loan agreement included dual registration rights, allowing Jawla to represent Djurgården when needed during his stint with Nordic United. His impressive goal return has now caught the attention of Allsvenskan side GAIS, who are looking to strengthen their attacking options.
According to reports from Sportbladet, the Gothenburg-based club are seriously considering making a permanent offer for the striker once his current loan arrangement concludes at the end of this month.
Jawla's contract with Djurgården runs until the end of the 2026 season, meaning any potential deal would require negotiations between GAIS and the Stockholm club. His prolific scoring record in Superettan suggests he could be ready to make the step up to Sweden's top flight.
