Kalmar FF have confirmed that defender Achraf Dari has left the club after his loan agreement expired at the end of the spring season.

The centre-back joined the Allsvenskan side in early March on a temporary deal that was set to run until the summer. Kalmar have now officially announced that the loan period has concluded and Dari will not be continuing with the club.

Sporting director Mats Winblad praised the defender's contribution during his brief stint at Guldfågeln Arena. "He is a fantastic person who has been incredibly professional in everything he has done with us," Winblad said, according to Kalmar FF.

Dari, who featured as a central defender during his time with Kalmar, also reflected positively on his experience in Småland. "I have learned a lot during my time in Kalmar, both as a player and as a person," the defender commented.

Kalmar FF, who compete in Sweden's top flight, brought in Dari to strengthen their defensive options during the crucial spring phase of the season. The club will now need to assess their squad depth at the back as they prepare for the remainder of the campaign.

The departure marks the end of what appears to have been a successful short-term arrangement for both parties, despite its brief duration.
