French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg and Belgian champions Club Brugge are both preparing bids for IFK Göteborg's teenage sensation Benjamin Brantlind, with the 17-year-old attacking midfielder entering the final six months of his contract.
According to Aftonbladet, both European clubs are ready to make offers for the promising youngster as IFK Göteborg work frantically to secure a transfer fee before losing him for free.
Brantlind's contract situation has become increasingly precarious for the Allsvenskan club, with the player able to sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs from January and leave Göteborg without compensation at the end of the season. Contract negotiations between the player and Blåvitt have been stalled for an extended period.
"I have been able to play more, score points, score goals," Brantlind said about his increased playing time in the first team during the spring season.
IFK Göteborg's sporting director Jesper Jansson has previously confirmed that a sale represents the most likely outcome for the teenage talent, who has impressed with greater involvement in the senior squad during the latter part of the spring campaign.
With both Strasbourg and Club Brugge reportedly prepared to table concrete offers, a summer departure now appears imminent for one of Swedish football's most exciting young prospects.
