Malmö FF are preparing for significant squad changes this summer, with Danish defender Jens Stryger Larsen among the players expected to depart the Allsvenskan champions.

According to Aftonbladet, the 35-year-old has attracted interest from clubs in Denmark, Turkey and Cyprus. If Stryger Larsen finds a suitable alternative, Malmö will not stand in his way.

The development comes as new sporting director Philip Berglund began his first day in the role, with finding a replacement for departed coach Miguel Angel Ramirez his immediate priority. Berglund has also outlined plans to bring in three to four new players while allowing several current squad members to leave.

"We're looking at it now. But we probably won't get everything sorted immediately - it might take two windows. I think we'll lose more players than we bring in this summer," Berglund said, speaking to Aftonbladet.

Stryger Larsen joined Malmö in January 2024 and his contract expires at the end of the current season. The experienced full-back has enjoyed success during his time at the club, winning both the Allsvenskan title and Svenska Cupen.
