Djurgården have conducted final interviews in their search for key personnel to strengthen their sporting organization, with former West Ham chief scout Maximilian Hahn among the candidates.
The Stockholm club are seeking a new sporting director for their men's team following Bosse Andersson's departure. According to Expressen, the organization may also be reinforced with an additional person.
Last week, the club held final interviews with four to five candidates for the position. Among those reportedly interviewed was 30-year-old German scout Maximilian Hahn, who recently left his role as chief scout at Premier League side West Ham United.
Hahn had served as both chief scout and chief analyst during his time with the London-based club. His background includes previous scouting roles with German clubs Werder Bremen and Darmstadt, giving him extensive experience across different levels of European football.
Djurgården, one of Sweden's most successful clubs with multiple Allsvenskan titles, are looking to rebuild their sporting structure as they aim to challenge for domestic honors. The appointment of an experienced figure like Hahn could signal ambitious plans for the club's recruitment and player development strategies going forward.
