Club history
IF Elfsborg were founded in 1904 in the textile city of Borås. With six Allsvenskan titles, Elfsborg are one of Sweden's most successful clubs. Their yellow-and-black colours are iconic, and the Borås Arena has been a fortress for the club. Anders Svensson, Sweden's most capped male player, spent much of his career at the club. Elfsborg have been consistent performers in European competition and are known for developing and selling talent to bigger leagues.
