ÖIS won four of the earliest Allsvenskan titles and produced legends like Gunnar Gren, one-third of the legendary "Gre-No-Li" trio that conquered Italian football in the 1950s. After decades in the lower divisions, ÖIS earned promotion back to the Allsvenskan, returning Swedish football's oldest club to where many believe they belong.
