Club history
Östers IF were founded in 1930 in Växjö, Småland. With four Allsvenskan titles, Östers are one of the most successful clubs in Swedish football history. The club produced a golden generation of players in the 1970s–80s, including Thomas Ravelli, Jonas Thern, and Martin Dahlin, who all went on to international stardom. After years in the lower divisions, Östers aim to recapture past glories.
